Terms of Service — Rello Phone
Last Updated: September 2026
1 About These Terms
These terms govern your use of rellophone.com, your pre-order, and the Rello Phone service, provided by Rello Phone Pty Ltd (ACN 698 341 365). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2 Who Can Order
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order and register an account. The person who orders is the account holder and is responsible for setting up the Rello Phone and supervising its use in the home. Rello is sold for personal and household use in Australia.
3 Pre-Orders & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of placing your pre-order to secure your Rello Phone. Pre-orders are fully refundable at any time before you receive your official dispatch confirmation email. To request a refund, simply email hello@rellophone.com. Estimated dispatch dates are indicative, and product specifications or timing may be updated before shipping.
4 Subscription Plans
Every Rello Phone includes a Free plan at no monthly cost for Rello-to-Rello calls (calls between Rello phones). To place calls to external Australian mobile or landline numbers, you can subscribe to our paid plan. All subscription plan options and current pricing are as advertised on our website. Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis with no lock-in contract, and you can cancel at any time by emailing hello@rellophone.com or managing your plan directly within the Rello App. Upon cancellation, your device will revert to the Free plan at the end of your current paid billing period.
5 Service Requirements & Internet Dependency
Rello Phone calls are made over the internet using your home Wi-Fi network. The service depends on your home internet and electrical power being live. If your internet or power goes down, the Rello Phone cannot make or receive calls.
6 Emergency Calls (000)
Rello Phone relies on an active home Wi-Fi network, internet connection, and electrical power. During an internet outage, power failure, or network disruption, no calls can connect, including calls to 000. Where power and internet are active, dialling 000 on the Rello Phone keypad connects directly to Australian emergency services on both Free and Paid plans. Emergency operators rely on the physical address registered in your Rello App; if you move the device, you must update your registered address immediately. Rello Phone is not a substitute for a primary home emergency line. Always keep an active mobile phone available in your household.
7 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Rello Phone for commercial telemarketing, bulk calling, auto-dialling, or anything unlawful. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or interfere with the Rello Phone hardware or software.
8 Warranty & Consumer Rights
Every Rello Phone comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rello Phone Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by power supply, internet outages, or carrier faults.
10 Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you have an issue, please contact us first at hello@rellophone.com so we can resolve it. If a telecommunications service complaint cannot be resolved together, you may escalate it to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) at tio.com.au or 1800 062 058.
11 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
